Hamm compactors are used to compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other materials used in road construction and other civil engineering projects. Hamm compactors are known for their high quality and durability, as well as their innovative features: some models feature Hammtronic, an electronic control system that allows the operator to fine-tune the machine's performance and optimize compaction results. Other models feature Hamm Compaction Meter, which provides real-time compaction measurement data to the operator.

    Series HC Compact Line

The small compactors HC 50i and HC 70i offer impressive gradeability, optimum driving characteristics and a comfortable, spacious cab. The 5 t and 7 t machines are extremely easy to operate and offer ergonomically optimised workstations. This also makes the HC CompactLine series ideal for machine rental.

    Series HC

The compactors of the HC series offer an innovative and powerful complete package for earthmoving. With impressive compaction performance, intuitive handling and maximum driving comfort, the single-drum compactors are ideally suited for almost all earthmoving tasks. The compactors of the HC series are also characterized by environmentally friendly and modern engines.

    Smart Compact

Need a better way to measure compaction? Smart Compact from HAMM Compaction Equipment is designed to support operators achieving best compaction results.

Operators choose the layer type - either a base, binder or asphalt surface course - and the system automatically determines the best compaction settings for each drum – be it vibrating, oscillating or static.

The system evaluates the asphalt’s temperature and rigidity and the required compaction energy is determined in the form of big or small amplitude, oscillation or statically, and is automatically regulated in both drums.

Oscillation during soil compaction? Absolutely! ✅

HAMM VIO (vibration + oscillation) Drums combine two types of compaction allowing uses to compact with either vibration or with oscillation. In earthworks, this allows the VIO drum to compact with vibration deep underground and with oscillation in the upper layer.

    Advantages?
    Fewer double passes
    Rapid increase in compaction
    Higher degree of compaction
